Sam Roberts Band: Detroit ‘67 I’m not too sure how fresh this is, and I will admit that musically, I’m not that with it at times. I did, however, just come across this video and thought it was pretty cool: Sam Roberts Band Detroit ‘67. from the vault. I’ve been archiving some old design files the past few days and came across this. we used this as our inspiration for a presentation we did for Heelys back in 2007.

LaCroix out indefinitely, facing early retirement. the evolve bubble hockey world was shocked today as a matinee game between the Design and Sales departments ended in tragedy. Blue Bomber defencemen, Jacques LaCroix, suffered what we are being told is “a lower body injury” and at this time will be out for the rest of the season and will not be back in time for playoffs. LaCroix, known by his fans as simply “The Hammer”, has been a staple on the Bomber defence throughout his multi-year career and may never recover from this devastating injury.
The Blue Bombers would go on to lose the game by a score of 11-4 against long-time division rivals, Team Homestarrunner, as Homestar Russian phenom, Maxim Makarov, netted 5 goals and added 2 assists.

evolve’s Heelys Footwear Tower @ the American Music Awards.
Heelys threw a little shindig before the 2008 American Music Awards in LA back in November and front and center of all the action was our very own Heelys Tower. They grow up so fast, seems like only yesterday he was just some marker and pen on a piece of copy paper, and now he’s all grown-up, hobnobbing with celebrities. And of course, all this sudden fame has gone straight to his head. He thinks he’s Mr. Bigshot now, won’t even return my phone calls.

iPhone App Store hits 500 million download mark, in just six months, and Gizmodo.com was kind enough to breakdown the number of actual downloads by App category into this helpful pie chart. Great stuff. I contributed to 5 of these categories, although I must say that the 1% Useful App segment is a little generous and I think iBeer should be more towards the upper teens.
